Saina wins back her position against the Japanese Eriko Hirose in Singapore Open Super Series to enter the singles quarterfinals. Saina is now ready to face the Indonesian No.11 Lindaweni Fanetri on Friday in the last eight stage.
Whereas the Indian Mixed pair of Arun Vishnu and Arpana Balan lost against Praveen Jordan and Vita Marissa of Indonesia (10-21,18-21).
Akshay Dewalkar and Pranav Jerry Chopra were knocked out by Chinese Taipei's Yoo Seon Yong and Shin Baek Choel (14-21,19-21).
