Immediately after the triumphant Indian cricket team returned from England after thrashing the hosts in a breathtaking final contest, Dhoni and Co. had to take off to West Indies for yet another combat.

The same squad that was part of the title triumph last Sunday, with the exemption of Irfan Pathan whose hamstring injury gave Shami Ahmed his first overseas assignment with India, are in the West Indies gearing up for a tri-series to be played from 30^th June to July 11th wherein 3 major cricketing giants participate – Windies being the hosts, Sri Lanka and India.

 The tri-series will have each team facing the other two twice in the preliminary stage to determine which teams will contest for the trophy in the final at Port of Spain on July 11.

The Indian campaign in the recently ended champion’s trophy showcased young talent and their evergreen form followed by their praiseworthy performances. The fact being every player in the squad got a match, and every individual contributed to the success.

"What is very important for us is not to look too far ahead. We will take it series by series," Dhoni said. "We just finished a world tournament in the UK and now we are in the West Indies. First, we will have to see the two teams which are ahead of us. The performance was really good in UK but we need to continue."

The likes of Dhawan and Jadeja, are expected to keep up their good form and show up in this trivial battle. Dhoni, who has become the first captain to win the World Cup, the World Twenty20 and the Champions Trophy, accredited the team's success to a dressing-room atmosphere that thrived on each other's performances.

"I'm fortunate to have the players in the side to really soak up the pressure. What we have done really well is we have enjoyed each other's success and that has really contributed to the side winning most of the games," he said. "If I'm happier than the person who has actually scored a century or a fifty, you understand that's the kind of atmosphere that you want, because at the end of the day, what we play is a team sport." Says the captain.

India met and bet both WI and SL in group stages and semi finals of CT13 respectively. Eventually, India outnumbered their opponents in every single match.

So, vengeance is what the other to teams will be thinking about and they won’t miss any chance to bounce back.

WI and SL already met in the opening match of the series on 28th June resulting in a comprehensive win for the hosts at the Sabina Park on Friday.

The hosts have in fact, started strikingly in the series mauling Sri Lanka in their lung-opener. The biggest positive from the game was the return to form of Chris Gayle, who was somewhat off-color in the ICC event.

Gayle's prowling hundred, which integrated seven sixes and nine fours, helped the West Indies overhaul a 209-run target in a mere 37.5 overs. He would without hesitation be the backbone of the West Indian batting against India as well.

On the contrary, the Sri Lankan team’s performance was not remarkable except for captain Angelo Matthews’s 118 balls 55 and veteran Jayawardane’s 52 of 86 balls.

The KKR spin wizard Sunil Narine also remarkably grabbed 4 wickets in his allotted 10 overs quota with a significant economy of 4.00.This man will always have a few tricks up his sleeves while pacers Kemar Roach and Ravi Rampaul can be a handful as well in the match against India.

Oh!! for a second after I woke up from sleep ,I thought it to be Sunday but at the next moment just realised that my school life is just over. How did I spend the glorious 13 yrs. in my school was just touching!!

                                               

Starting from K.G. where everyone was just very serene, had no grudges against future till the day when I passed out class 12 had a heaven & hell difference. I remember the last day of my schooldays where everyone was taking photographs with each other, giving best of luck for their future life but amidst the thing I really miss is the tiffin time in class XII-B.This is the fun which I'll never forget in my life ever.
                                         

We used to sit in the back benches and compete every morning for a place there just to chat with our friends,tell and cracked jokes for teachers but always were unhappy about the kind of study that prevailed there.Sharing tiffin among us and dividing a little bit of it into many a parts.Uhuh!!!lovely memories. But had a dream that one day we will see ourselves in a position which we dreamt in our schooldays,in our night dreams.
                                 
Poking nose in every small situations, calling friend's girlfriend as BHABI, giving slangs to each other.Uh!! such lovely experiences I had in my schooldays.Now we have just passed class 12, we will be scattered apart for the sake of further studies but friend's please pledge we never gotta put a wall on our friends company forever in our life.

SPAIN THROUGH TO THE CONFEDERATIONS CUP FINAL

                                                 

                                         
The Euro & The WC Champions Spain are through to the Confederations Cup final to be played at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janiero on 30th June,2013 with rivals Spain.

The Spaniards started the game brightly but it was the Azurris who started to counter Spain & were dominant in the first half with a few shots on target testing Iker Casillas to a great extent.The first half ended goalless with a promise of plenty more to come in the second half.Spain started the second half dominating the ball and few on target shots easy for Italy's Buffon to deal with. Few tackles were known by both the teams in the midfield area with the scoreline 0-0 at the end of the 90 minutes of normal time.
                                                         

Both the teams got their full time instructions right from their managers and it was Italy who came close to scoring it before the left back's effort struck off the post eventually relieving Spanish supporters. Spain too attacked strongly in the Italy's half posing frequent threats to G.G.Buffon. In the second half of the extra time Xavi's long ranger effort was again saved by Buffon which then struck off the bar post. A heart stopping moment for many Italy supporters. After that both teams got chances but failed to convert into goals.

Then came the tie breaker moment and Spain won the match with Bonucci missing from the spot, converted into goal by Jesus Navas and this guaranteed  Spain progress into the finals beating Italy 7-6 in penalties.

BRAZIL INTO THE FINALS OF THE CONFEDERATIONS CUP

                                       

Hey guys!! Brazil once again proved their name why they have won the WC five times, after beating the fellow Latin America rivals Uruguay at the Maracana stadium in Rio to take revenge of the 1950 WC final which was again hosted by this stadium.

                                   

The early part of the game was dominated by Uruguay eventually winning a penalty but it was Julio Cesar who came to Brazil's rescue then saving the penalty cheered by more than 60,000 fans present at the historic stadium.

After keeping the ball for most of the time during the first 45 minutes of playing, it was The Sambas who broke the deadlock and again Fred was the scorer. Surely,for this he wears the Brazil No. 9. From three minutes of the start of the second half, Uruguay struck back and this time Napoli striker Edinson Cavani was the scorer with a brilliant left foot finish.Score 1-1 to both.

                           

               

Brazil then went on to dominate the possession in the second half and their constant goal threat bore fruits in the 88th minute when the beautiful curling corner by Neymar was headed on by midfielder Paulinho putting the scoreline in favour of Brazil 2-1. World cup is just knocking at the door with just 1 year away and then the world's most awaited tournament will start its miracle at Brazil.Those chanting of the teams,roaring of the fans, shivering moments in the stadium,whistling song all over......oh my god i cant wait! Can you?

But here i want to discus about two teams. Two teams that are from different continents from different culture but plays the same simple game that is football. Yup, am talking about Brazil and Spain. Both the teams are considered to be the juggernauts of the game and both have history behind them.So lets start comparing them.

Starting with spain a team who have revolutionised the game of footbal from the past 8 years or so.They play a very simple game yet very complicated at times.Spain follows Tiki-Taka combination-a style of

US President Barack Obama is due to visit of South Africa this week as a part of a three country tour.Whereas Zuma confirmed that Mandela's worsening state of health should not affect his trip.

His last public appearence was waving to fans from the back of golf cart before the final of Soccer World Cup in Johannesburg's Soccer City in Jul' 2010.
Since his latest admission to hospital, well-wishers have been arriving at his Johannesburg home, with scores of school-children leaving painted stones outside the gates bearing prayers for his recovery.

"If it's his time to go, he can go. I wish God can look after him," said nurse Petunia Mafuyeka, as she headed to work in Johannesburg.

"I'm worried that they're keeping him alive. I feel they should let him go," said Doris Lekalakala, a claims manager. "The man is old. Let nature take its course. He must just rest."

The day after he went into hospital, South Africa's Sunday Times newspaper carried a front-page headline saying it was "time to let him go".

It will currently take place at the ''All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club'' running from 24th June till 7th July.It consists of singles, double & mixed doubles.Roger Federer & Serena Williams are the defending champions of the singles.
                             
The Wimbledon prize money for 2013 have been increased by nearly 40% to $ 34 million. The winner of men's & women's singles title will each earn $1.6 million which is up by euro 450,000 from last year.
In the 2013 Wimbledon, prize money is highest out of all the four Grand Slams compared to $32 million at the U.S.OPEN, $million at the Australian Open, $million at the French Open.

  It is an alarming incident happening in the outer space these days that the junk of the satellites left over after being used up is creating a circumstance known as "Kessler Syndrome". Yes guys it is for your notice that in future if this kin of a thing continues then it might happen that all the research works related to space and travel would be jammed. NASA recently observed this phenomenon occuring in the low-Earth orbit. Moreover the sun flares coming out are to some extent responsible for this blockage too.

So do you think the researchers are sleeping hearing this problem. Absolutely NO. The scientist at NASA have launched a program named "NASA Orbital Debris Program" to get out of such situations. According to the latest report produced by them the Sun can act as help to us clearing those scrubs working as vacuum cleaner.

Another way is the brilliance of mankind and the process goes as follows

Spacecraft sent to other planets -- such as the Mars satellites -- use this high altitude atmospheric drag to slow them down just before orbital insertion, a maneuver called "aerobreaking."

As the debris slows, Earth's gravity pulls it to lower altitudes where the atmosphere is even thicker. Thicker atmosphere = more drag = slower debris. Eventually the debris reenters the atmosphere sooner than it would do without the solar influence, burning up safely (for the most part).

Of the 3,218 cataloged debris from the Fengyun-1C destruction, only 6 percent of the pieces have reentered the atmosphere. But half of those pieces came down in the last 12 months, highlighting the part increased solar activity had to play in removing the debris from orbit.

Hahaha, what more can we expect from Science? Science have given us a way to live a new kind of life isn't it?? Day by day its getting modernize with the compatibility of human brain.Now via a simple smartphone how can we predict a heart pumping rate or detect a disease....lets see here guys.

A group of researchers from MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) showed us
just how easy it is to "see" a human heartbeat in ordinary video footage.

The release from MIT on this work mentions that the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) — the moment-to-moment deviations from constancy — can be used to diagnose potential heart issues. The researchers note that the true margin of error for their methods could be a few beats per minute. While that may seem pretty good as far as getting an overall pulse rate for everyday curiosity, it could be a problem if you want to try to extract inter-beat variability. At issue is the fact that the noise that is introduced by those few questionable beats could easily swamp and confound the real HRV signal.

Now a question must be tickling your brain nerves how this software or rather i say this HRV signal gets operated? Am i right? Lets see --

We could measure each beat-to-beat delay for example, bin them up in a histogram, and report a standard deviation or RMS (Root-Mean-Square) value. Alternatively, a fancier frequency domain analysis can be done to generate a power spectrum.

While most of the finesse in these techniques is in the software, successful signal extractions of this kind are ultimately driven by the sensor hardware. If an ordinary smartphone camera can already do a decent job, we can imagine the level of detail that more dedicated remote sensors might be able gather. Finer-grained spatial detection, and thermal analysis, might reveal slight asymmetries in per fusion of the face to paint a clearer picture of vascular health.

A quick and harmless laser pulse to the skin would evaporate hundreds of unique molecules readily available to be vacuumed up and analyzed. "Taking" such readings more-or-less covertly need not always be seen as suspicious. They may come to be normal conversational facilitators that amplify the feedback we already give, consciously or not, to indicate receptiveness.

While most of these things will be of little practicality to us, to our avatar and machine creations searching to understand human emotional virtuosity, they will likely be immensely interesting.

INDIA WINS THE CHAMPIONS TROPHY

                                                   

INDIA wins the ICC Champions Trophy after beating England in their home soil by 5 runs, singly for the first time since 2002 after a long wait for a decade.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the first captain in the planet to win the T20 WC, 50-over WC, ICC Champions Trophy, making India top the test playing nation's list with many more still to come.
                                       

England won the toss & decided to put India bat first which was a very good call for what it was a rain affected pitch difficult to bat on. INDIA lost early wickets in quick succession before Ravindra Jadeja & Virat Kohli fought back and got into a challenging score of 129 for the loss of 7 wickets.
                                             

   
Many thought it would be difficult to defend the score but the Indian bowlers proved how it's possible to defend such a low scoring total with precision and bowling accuracy.
                                     

England too, lost wickets at rapid intervals after Ravi Bopara & Eoin Morgan started giving some hopes for the English supporters not long before Ishant Sharma struck both of them in consecutive deliveries but eventually missing a hat-trick.

India finally bounced back and Ashwin and Jadeja too bowled beautifully helping India to restrict England to 124-8.The 50 over match was reduced to 20 over match due to rain and proved to be a worthy one for the spectators.
                                           

Ravindra Jadeja was declared Man of the Match as well as awarded with the ''GOLDEN BALL'' award for being the leading wicket taker in the championship followed by Shikhar Dhawan winning ''GOLDEN BAT'' award for scoring the most runs in the tournament.

He is the last known man to live for the most well known proof of Fermat's Last Theorem.He told no any integer can satisfy the equation a^n+b^n=c^n except 2(which would make it Pythagoras Theorem).

8. SIR ISSAC NEWTON & WILHELM LEIBNIZ

The credit of the introduction of the modern infinitesimal calculus goes to both of them.Leibniz is thanked for giving the standard notation i.e.the integral notation.
But,nonetheless they both are genius to be said the least.               

7. LEONARDO PISANO BLOGROLL
   
 Known as Leonardo Fibonacci,is perhaps one of the greatest mathematicians of the middle ages.He is greatly credited for the introduction of the Arabic Number System,something he is forgotten for.It's only due to him that the Arabic maths has been developed and is considered as one of the major mathematicians of all times.

                                   

 
6. ALAN TURING

Computer Scientist & Crypt analyst is also supposed to be a great mathematician in the 20th century.He is also regarded as one of the first true computer scientists.
Worked for The Government code and Cypher School in Britain aiding in the cracking of The German Enigma Encryptions. He also worked on computer's artificial intelligence.




5. RENE DESCARTES

This genius needs no introduction.He alongside Newton & Leibniz also worked on the fundamentals of Calculus.He also invented Cartesian geometry which is helpful in the plotting of graphs(square line grids,X-axis,Y-axis etc.).He also introduced superscripts written in algebra to express powers.So no doubt,he is one of the greatest mathematicians of all times.

4. EUCLID

Known as the Father of Geometry and his magnum opus:Elements is one of his greatest mathematical works.He is also credited for his works in number Theory.Unfortunately,very little is known about his life.There are other five works of him which has sadly been lost throughout history.                                   

3. G.F.BERNHARD RIEMANN

He falls in the list of prominent mathematicians in the 19th century.The list of his contribution to geometry is large,to name a few:Riemannian Geometry,Riemannian integral,Riemannian Surfaces.





2. CARL FRIEDRICH GAUSS

Needless to say he is called 'THE PRINCE OF MATHEMATICS'.He went on to prove the fundamental theorem of algebra and also introduced Gaussian gravitational constant in physics before 24.He continued it for 77 years and led to the development of many outstanding discoveries.




1. LEONHARD EULER

If Gauss is the prince,Euler is the king.He is still regarded as the greatest mathematician to have ever walked on this planet.He introduced natural logarithm base 'e'(The Euler constant),function of x written generally as f(x),Greek letter sigma for summation,
'i' indicating complex imaginary number as well as pi indicating ratio of the circle's circumference to it's
diameter.
